Hi 👋🏽 I’m Sam!

I’m a Manager at Apple by day, an artist by night, and an aspiring product designer. Over nine years at Apple, I’ve specialized in operations and visuals, leading high-profile launches such as the iPhone X, iPhone 13, and Apple Vision Pro. Alongside my professional work, I’ve committed my free time to personal growth by completing UX Design and Project Management certifications and pursuing a Product Design certification at Parsons School of Design in NYC.

Growing up in Queens, New York, as the daughter of Dominican immigrant parents, I was raised with high ambitions and a desire to help others. This drive shaped my early career decisions, earning an associate degree in Vision Care Technology and working part-time while balancing my studies. Joining Apple in 2015 marked the start of a transformative journey. I thrived in an inclusive culture and became a Manager in 2021, solving complex operational challenges and mentoring others.

While I’ve succeeded in my current role, my passion for art and creativity has always been my foundation. Inspired by my father’s artistic talent, I’ve explored drawing as a means of expression since childhood. Today, I channel that creativity into design, using the skills I’ve gained in research, prototyping, and user testing to pursue a career as a product designer. My goal is to create impactful user experiences that blend beauty and functionality, helping others through thoughtful design.

In addition to Art and Design, I am a foodie (but still a picky eater if that makes sense) and a proud Beyhive member who went to see the Renaissance concert twice (wishing I went to more 😩).
